Curating art for our clients is one of the core offerings at Refined Interiors. “Art informs my design,” says Laura Elliott, who previously worked as an Art Consultant at an art gallery in Sausalito, CA. “When I opened my design firm, I wanted to celebrate the incredible talent of local artists and artisans who make the Bay Area such a dynamic creative hub.”

"Each spring and fall, Refined Interiors invites a featured artist to exhibit their work within the walls of our historic landmark space, culminating in a celebratory opening reception. From established names to emerging talent, these exhibitions create a meaningful intersection between the interior design world and the local community—fostering connection, conversation, and creativity.

ARTIST BIO

Parisa Navidi is an Iranian-born artist and architect based in the Bay Area. For more than twenty years, she has maintained an art practice alongside her work in architecture, developing a visual language rooted in material, composition, geometry, and spatial relationships.

After 12 years practicing architecture in San Francisco, Parisa established her independent art and architecture studio in Berkeley in 2026, where the two disciplines continually inform one another.

Her recent acrylic work explores geometry, form, and layering, bringing artistic intuition into dialogue with an architect’s sensitivity to space, structure, and precision.
